[By the time they make it to the clinic, the shock is wearing off and the pain is starting to set in full-force. He's gritting his teeth and maybe regretting a couple of decisions made in the last hour... This place has gotten to him more than he realized.
He's taking it like a champ, though. He's not one to balk at pain. At least it's not bleeding quite so badly anymore, though they should still probably get it patched up sooner than later.]
Uh... We'll need some bandages. Stitches, maybe? Do you put stitches in something like this?

I can give you those. I'd look for something to numb you but I'm pretty sure stitches won't be more painful than...that.

[The throbbing in his hand is so intense that he doubts the stitches will make much difference. He starts to unwrap the bloodsoaked strips of Baldr's cape to get a look at the damage... Is there even enough tissue left to get stitches in there? Tough to say, but at least there's no exposed bone.]
I'm surprised she didn't kill me.
