[Healy is sitting on the edge of one of the clinic beds, his hand wrapped tightly in gauze. His dominant hand... Not sure that was worth the sacrifice, but he's not ready to give a shit about that just yet.

He looks up as Mio enters.]

Hey there.

[His smile is strained. Turns out getting shot really fucking hurts! He's looking a bit sweaty and pale. Luckily, he's no stranger to pain.]

Sorry about the dramatics earlier.

[When Healy finally heads back to Jade Vine, he's looking pretty haggard. He's lost a fair amount of blood, and even though his hand is bandaged up, it's still hurting like a son of a bitch. He misses having a real hospital around...

He had half a mind to just stay in the clinic, but he's made the trek back anyway. Less chance of getting bothered by the others.

Then again, he lives with Erika. So.]

Hey.

[He gives her a tired nod as he comes inside. He's got his bloody jacket slung over his shoulder. Maybe it'll wash out...]
rightmove: (healy23)
[Well, at least they've managed to stop the bleeding. That's something, right? Healy is sitting on the edge of one of the clinic beds, being a moderately good patient. He's cooperative, at least. It hurts like a son of a bitch, but he's still hanging on to those last dregs of adrenaline to power through. He may also consume an irresponsible amount of alcohol once he's all patched up.]

Probably... shouldn'ta done that.

[Does he only regret it because it came at the cost of his fingers? Maybe so!]
rightmove: (healy48)
[By the time they make it to the clinic, the shock is wearing off and the pain is starting to set in full-force. He's gritting his teeth and maybe regretting a couple of decisions made in the last hour... This place has gotten to him more than he realized.

He's taking it like a champ, though. He's not one to balk at pain. At least it's not bleeding quite so badly anymore, though they should still probably get it patched up sooner than later.]

Uh... We'll need some bandages. Stitches, maybe? Do you put stitches in something like this?

[He's still a bit dazed and is not exactly an expert on first aid. He's more used to doing the damage than recovering from it.]
rightmove: (healy14)
[When Baldr comes calling, Healy is camped out on the front porch of Jade Vine cottage. He's got a half-empty six pack of beer with him and he's slowly nursing a bottle. He's a little surprised to have a visitor, but he tips the bottle at Baldr in greeting as the other man approaches.

Jade Vine Farm is still a mess, of course. Squinting into the dark, Healy can just make out the shadow of the scarecrow still lying in the trampled strawberry bushes.]

It's late.

[In other words: Hi!]
rightmove: (healy81)
[When Erika finally makes her way back to their farm, Healy is outside, sitting on the porch and drinking from a half-empty six pack of beer. He offers her a bottle as she approaches. Hiya, roomie.]

Where'd you run off to last night?

[He saw her briefly during her tape spree, but clearly that effort was more expansive than he realized.]
rightmove: (healy25)
[It's late, and Healy is finally daring to venture back to his farm. He's not exactly eager to head home after today.

So, when he spots a light on in the Wizard's Tower, he jumps at the chance to delay that a little longer.]

Walter?

[Healy's standing in the laboratory doorway with a six pack of beer and an exhausted look on his face. He's doing great, thanks.]

The ducks'll clean this place up.

[But he imagines that's not new information and Walt just wants to do this anyway. He gets it.]

[It's a little later in the evening when Healy comes calling. He knew as soon as trial let out that he wanted a word with Shinobu, but both of them needed a break. He spent his downtime checking out the saloon for the first time. A bad idea, but it's far from the worst idea anyone's had today. He doesn't care.

Besides, it gave him an opportunity to pester the barduck into revealing Shinobu's go-to drink. Healy shows up at Flame Lily Farm with a six pack of beer—and a bottle of grape juice, in case she's not the type to drink away her problems.]

Told ya we'd solve it.

[That could not sound less like an "I told you so". It's a joke, maybe. Ha ha?]
rightmove: (healy42)
[Healy's never been a party guy. He's only hanging out at the little movie theater gathering to keep an eye on things, make sure no one gets too off their rocker. Someone's gotta keep a level head around here after that trial.

About midway through the night, he heads outside for a breather—and spots Shinobu a little ways down the road.]

Hey. You did good back there.

[He sounds tired, but that's on par for him.]
rightmove: (healy63)
[It's nearly time for bed on Thursday and Noah is nowhere to be found. Weird, but Healy doesn't think too much of it... until he tries the door to their cottage. No dice. So much for checking outside for the guy.]

We're locked in.

[He says it matter-of-factly. If he's concerned, he doesn't show it. He tries the door again, but it's jammed up tight.]

And Noah's likely locked out. Anyone know if he was planning a sleepover?

Forgotten Memories:
1. The diner incident. About a year before the story, Healy singlehandedly took down an armed robber in a crowded diner and made national news. He did it just because it was the right thing to do and cited it as the best day of his life because he felt useful.

2. Blueface killed Healy's fish. :(

3. All memories of Holland March, Healy's PI partner. They cross paths as they're both looking for a girl named Amelia and decide to join forces. By the end of the movie, March is pretty much Healy's bestie and they open a PI agency together.

4. All memories of Holly March, his partner March's 13-year-old daughter. Healy has a huge soft spot for Holly. She convinces him to show mercy and not kill unless it's 100% necessary.

Skills:
1. Fighting. Before becoming a PI, Healy is an enforcer for hire and his entire job is punching people. He's strong, quick on his feet, and can take a pretty good beating.

2. Investigation. Healy and March work together to solve a complicated case and although March is the PI, Healy matches him in terms of detective skills. He's no Sherlock Holmes, but he pays attention to details and can connect dots well.

3. Organization. Healy keeps his living space neat and orderly, and he takes good care of his belongings. He's unlikely to lose/forget things.

4. Strong stomach. Violence, gore, and corpses don't bother him. He's also unbothered by murder as long as he feels the person deserves to die.

Random Fact: Healy and his ex-wife split up after she revealed she was having an affair with his father

Favorite Gift: Yoo-hoo (like, the drink)

Hated Gift: A framed picture of his dad and ex-wife together
